Our Aviation and Operations Support Teams provide consistent and accurate support and guidance to all Virgin Holidays’ internal customers, offering solutions and recommendations on both new and existing bookings.
Here are a few examples of the job roles you’ll find within our Aviation and Operations Support team.
We support our sales and service colleagues from both an aviation and ground operations perspective. The team acts as first line support covering anything from name changes and fare queries to airline schedule changes and on request accommodation.
We have a small team of analysts supporting the business with any technical queries relating to our flight product. The team works closely with IT and our system suppliers to troubleshoot and fix any issues. In addition, this team works with both our finance colleagues and airline partners to ensure we are correctly billed for the flight tickets we issue.
Air Product & Ticketing
We oversee the issuing of hundreds of thousands of flight tickets each year. Some of our customers’ holidays involve very complex itineraries and these require our expertise to ensure they are issued correctly. We also work closely with our airline partners to obtain the best fares in market to ensure our holidays are priced competitively.
QA is responsible for increasing accuracy when holidays are either loaded on to or booked through our reservation system. Both bookings and contracts are checked on a regular basis. The Team works closely with our sales channels and loading teams to report on accuracy and support continuous improvement.
